REKTOR IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM BESERTA TIM PKM MELAKSANAKAN PENGABDIAN DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA, PROVINSI NTB

Mataram, 26 Agustus 2025 - Rektor IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd. beserta Tim PKM melaksanakan pengabdian di Kabupaten Sumbawa, Provinsi NTB. Aksi Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan bagian dari pelaksanaan kewajiban Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara berkelompok lintas program studi, diikuti oleh pegawai, dan mahasiswa berjumlah 10 orang. Fokus PKM dilaksanakan pada 23 - 27 Agustus 2025 di Banjar Suka Duka, Kota Sumbawa. Adapun tema dari pengabdian unggulan ini adalah Pembinaan Umat Berbasis Moderasi Beragama untuk Mendukung Perubahan Institut Menuju Universitas. Selain fokus melaksanakan pengabdian, Rektor IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram juga berkesempatan menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding dengan Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sumbawa (STAIS). Rangkaian kegiatan PKM meliputi program pembinaan umat, dharma wacana, dharma tula, dharma gita, pelatihan aksara Bali, majejahitan, public speaking, weda wakya, tari, serta pembentukan pengurus Pesantian Janana Gita Santhi. Selain memberikan berbagai pola edukasi berbasis moderasi beragama, Tim PKM juga berkesempatan memberikan bantuan sarana pendukung kegiatan di Banjar Gede Suka Duka, Kota Sumbawa. Rektor IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd. berharap program pembinaan umat berbasis moderasi beragama sebagai pondasi dalam melaksanakan aktivitas hidup bermasyarakat. FROM CAMPUS TO COMMUNITY: IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM EMPOWERS HINDUS THROUGH DANA PUNIA IN COLLABORATION WITH BDDN NTB.

Mataram, August 28, 2025 The State Hindu Institute (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram has taken part in the dana punia program facilitated by the Badan Dana Dharma Nasional (BDDN) of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The initiative was carried out in the spirit of unity and gotong royong (mutual cooperation), with the shared vision of building the Gerbang Kemandirian Umat or Gateway to Community Self-Reliance. The collected funds are to be managed by BDDN and allocated to support six strategic pillars: community welfare; health assistance for pandita and pinandita (Hindu spiritual leaders); education and human resource development for Hindus; strengthening Hindu community organizations; economic empowerment programs; humanitarian and social aid; and long-term investment initiatives. The fund handover was officially conducted at Pura Saraswati, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram campus, in conjunction with the Upanayana ceremony, highlighting the sacred and communal spirit of the occasion. Representing BDDN NTB at the event were Mr. I Ketut Sutarjana, serving as Treasurer II, and Mr. I Gede Oka Budiana, Secretary III. On behalf of BDDN, Mr. Sutarjana expressed his appreciation, stating, We sincerely thank IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram for this meaningful contribution. This support is not only financial but also symbolic of the shared commitment to building the self-reliance of the Hindu community. We hope this collaboration can continue sustainably in the years to come. In response, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, reaffirmed the institutes dedication, saying, We are honored to be part of this noble initiative. The values of solidarity and mutual cooperation embodied in the dana punia program are aligned with our academic mission and spiritual responsibility. IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram will continue to work hand in hand with BDDN and the wider community to support the welfare, education, and empowerment of our people. As a follow-up, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram announced that the dana punia activity will be regularly held every semester and will involve the participation of all institutional leaders. This step reflects the institutes long-term commitment to making social contributions a permanent part of its academic and spiritual journey. IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM AND STAIS SUMBAWA FORGE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP THROUGH MOU

Sumbawa, August 24, 2025 The State Hindu Institute (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram and the Islamic College of Sumbawa (Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sumbawa/STAIS) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The signing ceremony was held at the STAIS campus in Desa Penyaring, Moyo Utara District, Sumbawa Regency. The MoU was signed by Ahmad Jaya, S.Pd., M.T, Chairman of STAIS, and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. The agreement outlines a comprehensive collaboration focusing on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: Education, Research, and Community Service. Through this partnership, both institutions will explore joint academic programs, student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research projects, and community empowerment initiatives. In the field of Education, the two campuses will strengthen curriculum development, organize seminars and workshops, and promote innovation and interfaith dialogue. For Research, the institutions will initiate collaborative studies addressing local, national, and global issues, fostering joint publications and knowledge dissemination. Meanwhile, in Community Service, both parties will design programs aimed at empowering local communities, promoting social harmony, and advancing sustainable development in Sumbawa and beyond. Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata expressed optimism about the cooperation, stating: This MoU reflects our shared vision to advance the quality of higher education. By integrating our strengths in education, research, and service, we will not only enrich the academic environment but also contribute meaningfully to society. This partnership is a model of how different faith-based institutions can work hand in hand for the common good. Similarly, Chairman Ahmad Jaya underlined the significance of the agreement: We are very pleased to collaborate with IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. This cooperation will open opportunities for our students and lecturers to grow academically and professionally. More importantly, it strengthens the spirit of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect, which are essential values in our diverse society. The MoU will remain valid for a period of five years from the date of signing, providing a sustainable framework for long-term academic and community-based initiatives. Following the signing, representatives from both institutions held a joint discussion session, outlining specific action plans and potential programs to implement the MoU effectively. These include collaborative workshops, faculty development activities, and cross-institutional mentoring programs. Both institutions emphasized that this cooperation is not merely symbolic but is designed to produce tangible outcomes. By combining resources and expertise, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram and STAIS Sumbawa are committed to fostering innovation, broadening research capacity, and delivering meaningful contributions to the community. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session involving the leadership and the faculty members from both institutions. FROM EDUCATION TO ACTION: IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM’S BLOOD DONATION SUPPORTS THE SDGS AGENDA

Mataram, August 22, 2025 The State Hindu Institute (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram organized a blood donation drive today at the Wantilan Pura Saraswati, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram campus, as part of its commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The activity was a direct follow-up to a coordination meeting held at the Senate Room of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, which brought together the Head of Hindu Community Guidance, Hindu Religious Affairs Officers of Mataram City, Hindu community leaders, the board of Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia (WHDI) Mataram, and the leadership of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. The initiative reflects the institutions dedication to public health and social welfare. Several social programs have been planned, including cervical cancer screening (Pap smear), blood donation, and mass medical treatment. Among these initiatives, todays event highlighted the blood donation drive, aiming to foster a culture of care, solidarity, and community service. According to the organizing committee, the blood donation program not only helps address the urgent demand for blood supplies but also encourages students, staff, and the Hindu community to actively participate in humanitarian efforts. Through this activity, we hope to contribute to the well-being of society while strengthening collaboration between religious leaders, institutions, and the community, said one of the IAHN officials. The Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., further elaborated: This blood donation program is part of our campuss social concern for others. We believe that higher education institutions must not only serve as centers of learning and research but also as agents of social change. By encouraging our students, lecturers, and the community to participate in humanitarian activities such as blood donation, we are fostering empathy, solidarity, and a spirit of service to humanity. The blood donation drive at Wantilan Pura Saraswati was attended by dozens of students, lecturers, and members of the local Hindu community. The event received enthusiastic participation, with many volunteers stepping forward to donate and show support for the program. Representatives from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Mataram City were also present to provide professional medical assistance and ensure that the blood collection process was carried out safely and effectively. The activity was held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit of PMI West Lombok, highlighting the importance of synergy between educational institutions and health organizations in supporting public health services. This activity is expected to become a regular agenda at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. By integrating education, religion, and social service, the institute hopes to inspire a broader movement of health awareness and community care, in line with the spirit of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. BERKONTRIBUSI TERHADAP PENCAPAIAN SDGs, IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM SIAPKAN PAPSMEAR, DONOR DARAH, HINGGA PENGOBATAN MASSAL.

Sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram bersiap menggelar rangkaian kegiatan sosial, mulai dari pemeriksaan kesehatan Papsmear, donor darah, hingga pengobatan massal.Rencana kegiatan tersebut disampaikan dalam rapat koordinasi yang berlangsung di Ruang Senat IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram bersama Kepala Bidang Bimbingan Masyarakat Hindu, Penyelenggara Bimas Hindu Kota Mataram, tokoh Hindu, Pengurus Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia (WHDI) Kota Mataram, serta jajaran pejabat IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. Rektor Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya menjadi bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga bagian dari tanggung jawab perguruan tinggi dalam mendukung agenda pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kami ingin menghadirkan program yang langsung menyentuh kebutuhan masyarakat. Pemeriksaan Papsmear, donor darah, dan pengobatan massal merupakan langkah nyata yang sekaligus mencerminkan nilai kepedulian dan kebersamaan yang diajarkan dalam ajaran Hindu, ujar Rektor. Kegiatan ini akan melibatkan tenaga medis profesional serta didukung oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk organisasi kemasyarakatan Hindu dan instansi kesehatan terkait. IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM MEMBENTUK TIM SATGAS PENCEGAHAN DAN PENANGANAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL

Mataram, 19 Agustus 2025 Pusat Studi Gender Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram resmi membentuk Tim Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual (PPKS) melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang digelar di Aula Lantai 3 Kampus IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. Tim Satgas PPKS IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram hadir sebagai narasumber dalam kegiatan Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) dengan memberikan materi terkait definisi kekerasan seksual, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual, faktor penyebab, dasar hukum, langkah-langkah pencegahan, mekanisme penanganan, hingga peran penting sivitas akademika dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual. Rektor IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma.,S.E.,M.Si.,M.Pd., menegaskan komitmen kampus dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual. IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram tidak mentolerir segala bentuk kekerasan seksual. Pembentukan Satgas PPKS ini adalah wujud nyata komitmen kami untuk melindungi seluruh sivitas akademika dan memastikan kampus menjadi ruang yang aman, bermartabat, dan berintegritas, tegasnya. Ketua Pusat Studi Gender IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram juga menyampaikan bahwa pembentukan Satgas ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari amanat peraturan pemerintah dan komitmen perguruan tinggi dalam memberikan perlindungan maksimal kepada mahasiswa. Satgas ini tidak hanya bertugas menangani kasus, tetapi juga mengedukasi, mendampingi, dan memastikan korban mendapatkan hak-haknya, ujarnya. Melalui penyampaian materi pada PKKMB ini, Tim Satgas PPKS mengajak mahasiswa baru untuk memahami pentingnya pencegahan kekerasan seksual sejak dini di lingkungan kampus. Harapannya, pengetahuan yang diberikan dapat menjadi bekal dalam menciptakan budaya kampus yang aman, inklusif, dan menghargai nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Dengan adanya Satgas PPKS, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram meneguhkan diri sebagai kampus yang berkomitmen pada nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, kesetaraan, dan keadilan.
