Mataram, May 19, 2025 — The Fit and Proper Test for candidates vying for the position of Rector at the State Hindu University (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram was successfully conducted on Monday, May 19, 2025. The event took place virtually via Zoom from the second-floor meeting room of the university’s Rectorate Building and was coordinated by the Head of the General Administration, Academic, and Financial Bureau (AUAK) of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Drs. I Gusti Nyoman Artawan, M.Ag.
Four distinguished candidates participated in the evaluation process:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd.
- Prof. Dr. I Wayan Ardhi Wirawan, S.Pd., S.Ag., M.Si.
- Prof. Dr. Siti Zaenab, S.Ag., M.Pd., CIQaR
- Dr. Susilo Edi Purwanto, S.Ag., M.Si.
The Fit and Proper Test included comprehensive interviews aimed at assessing the candidates’ vision, leadership skills, academic integrity, and administrative capabilities in leading the university forward.
The Selection Commission overseeing the test was chaired by Prof. Dr. Phil. Kamaruddin Amin, M.A., with Prof. Dr. I Nengah Duija, M.Si. serving as Secretary. Commission members included several notable academics and experts:
- Prof. Dr. Suyitno, M.Ag.
- Dr. H. Wawan Djunaedi, M.A.
- Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan
- Prof. Dr. I Wayan Adnyana, S.Sn., M.Sn.
- Prof. Apt. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si.
This selection process reflects the university’s commitment to transparency and merit-based leadership. Each candidate presented their strategic plans and responded to questions from the panel, addressing topics such as academic innovation, institutional development, and alignment with national higher education goals.
